I love painting flowers and have been painting flowers in watercolor 12 years as you can see in my Floralscapes shop. This year I've been exploring acrylic paints to avoid the necessity of framing and loosening up my technique. The effect is quite different from my watercolors: more saturated, less delicate and a different and wonderfully rich feeling. This painting on a square 8x8" cradled panel can be hung directly on the wall. The sides are painted black and It is varnished for protection. See 3 other tropical flowers in this series which make a nice grouping
