New Work for Springtime

Flamboyance by Sandy Haight. Frame: 31” x 39”.

I’m continuing with my thrill of zooming into a flower and being seduced by the designs and vivid colors. Those colors, so fleetingly short lived but inviting us to revel in our natural world with “flamboyance.” Lately I’m stretching into new horizons with single blooms that reach for the sky,

I’m presenting these 4 new paintings along with 5 others you may have seen on prior posts and shows for the April group show at Scott Milo Gallery of Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Poster artists past and present.

Wide Horizons of color for your walls!

I had the honor in 2016 to be the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival poster artist and get to participate in Scott Milo Gallery’s group show every few years, this year with 9 paintings.  Here’s a link to my posts from that time. If you get a chance to visit the tulip fields this spring, you might want to see work of several artists who have been inspired by the region in this show.
