I’m excited to be participating in the Madison Park Art Walk this year for the first time….nice and close to home. The party is happening this week on Friday Sept 9 from 5pm – 9pm throughout the Madison Park business district in Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington. This event is filled with ART, LIVE MUSIC, FOOD and FUN followed by movie shorts in the park hosted by IndieFlix with popcorn and refreshments served! The art shows will continue to be on display until September 25 so don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Friday event. My paintings will be exhibited at Home Street Bank, 4036 E Madison St, along with Barbara Dunshee’s whimsical ceramic sculptures.
Start your evening at the Starbucks reception, 4000 E Madison Street, where each artist has one piece on display. My new orchid painting, above, may greet you there. Amazing treats were served last year at Starbucks and other locations, so bring your appetite.
Come see the new tulip paintings from my Scott Milo Gallery show in Anacortes last spring during the Tulip Festival. This is a chance to get up close and personal views of these paintings of luminous spring blooms posted here and many more.
Other artists you may know who are participating in this art walk are:
Timothy O’Shea, Maaike Bakker, Veronique Burke, Liz Ulrich, Cara Alexander, Michael Miller, Gina Ballí, Rob Janes, Eve Wright, Karl Krogstad, Barbara Dunshee, Kristin Powers, Janet Wilson, Kim Wratten, Diane Schumacher, The Daddz, Brooke Westlund, Mary Garvey, Ramon Deslauriers, Mary Freiburger, Kathleen Kemly, Corina Linden, Diane Culhane, Becky MacPherson, Mari Jalbing, Liz Gamberg, Peggy Miller, Maxwell Brake, Clare McKenzie, Patrick Orton, Supriya Wickrematillake, Karen Weisman, Emily R.
