My favorite painting, and one of the first of my “Floralscape” series has been juried into the International Open show sponsored by the NW Watercolor Society. Juror Donna Zagotta selected 62 paintings from 485 submissions to be on display from April 19, this Saturday, through June 6, 2014 at:
American Art Company

If you love watercolor, here’s a chance to see a wide range of styles and subjects in that medium. The gallery is spacious and easy to find if you plan an art outing to Tacoma this spring. I’ll be at the reception and award ceremony on April 26 from 2-4:00 pm, a Saturday afternoon. With so many artists and their families & friends, these are very lively, often crowded affairs.
“Morning Splendor” is based on a beautiful orange azalea blooming in May at the Washington Park Arboretum Japanese Gardens. To see more paintings from this series visit my fine art web site. Enjoy the beauty of this blooming season, wherever you are!
