“Billowing” is my latest large painting and will be featured in the window display of The Art Study gallery in University Village, Seattle, starting this weekend concurrent with a shopping center wedding promotion event on April 27. It’s framed and prominently displayed, along with a large print of another one of my paintings of a similar palette, below, introducing me as their new artist.
The Art Study gallery now has available archival giclee prints of 11 of my Floralscape paintings. Matted and ready for standard sized frames, they offer an infusion of color to brighten the gray NW climate. The reproductions are hard to distinguish from the actual paintings thanks to the amazing photographic and printing skills of Cary Cartmill of Digital Canvas NW. The window display will be presented into June or beyond. Click here for the location of The Art Study within the lively shopping center. And, go for a walk outside and see the billowing rhodies at their finest. I don’t have to go far. The actual rhododendron that was the inspiration for this new painting, is in full bloom right now, adorning my garden view.
