Come to Sotheby’s on Bainbridge Island, WA to contemplate island living within an easy commute to Seattle by the magic of the Washington State ferries. Or, just drop in and take a look at my paintings that adorn their offices for the next month or so. If you didn’t get a chance to see my shows at Island Gallery this summer, where some of my work is still available, come to:
Beguiling Kauai, above, is from a different island in Hawaii where I like to go in the winter to warm up. Here’s one of the 3 walls…

Seduction of Lilies and Beguiling Kauai at Sotheby’s
The most common comments overheard are “I can’t believe this is watercolor!” In fact it is 100% transparent watercolor built up in layers to attain intense, luminous color. Also, “the shading is amazing and use of color is beautiful! The one with the dew drops is unbelievable… I don’t know how she did that with watercolors.” They take a long time to paint and can absorb the eye for a long time as a result. I’m bringing the water from island shores to warm up interior walls and beguile my viewers. Enjoy from wherever you are in my Floralscapes online gallery.
