Animal Art for Island Gallery in August

Ozzie the Cat gets will cross Puget Sound. She’ll join the other Pets on Parade artwork at a group show on Bainbridge Island’s Island Gallery for the month of August following my big July show of Floralscapes.

I’ll also be showing 3 sumi animal paintings.  The octopus in the gallery’s e-card above, along with a few unframed octopus sumi-es, a heron and a robin….not your normal “pets”, but worthy of the multimedia parade. The reception is this Friday August 7 from 6-8 during the Bainbridge First Friday Art Walk. Listen for the music outside Island Gallery as you walk into town from the ferry and come say hi. It should be a lovely summer evening in the northwest to delight in the arts and celebrate animals and pets!
